Here is what is on my heart this morning for the ladies coming to the retreat:
Less than two month before we see each other at Diamond Arrow in Nevada City for our Retreat!
Proverbs 3:5-7
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths.”
In these busy days of mothering and homeschooling we can become
tired and in need of a place to lean.
Let us be ever careful of what we are leaning upon.
Is it our own thoughts of what will give us rest?
Perhaps our accomplished adgenda?
Or that which we believe to be necessary?
These things are in the dangerous arena of “our own understanding”.
I am praying for myself and all of you today as well,
that we will look and see our Beloved Jesus and lean upon Him.
I look forward to our time together in October as we gather together at the retreat and encourage each other to be still and know His love …
We can be well assured that He will
“make our paths straight”.
