Ready..Set..GO!! Sign up for Track and Field/April PE Class

Hello Parents and Guardians:

Everyone knows that running is a great way to get into shape, but did you know that it can benefit almost every part of the body, as well as lifting our mood?  While it may not be everybody's favorite form of exercise, it will help increase endurance and cardiovascular health. These are just some of the great reasons to enroll your child/children into this months sport.

In our Track and Field PE class the participants will learn proper form, conditioning drills/games and running techniques. At each class session, 30 minutes will be spent on track work and 30 minutes on field events. Participants will all run 100 meters and will work on their individual speed and endurance. Baton handoff and relay racing will be introduced. Field events will include the shot put and the standing long jump. A PE track/meet will be held on the last class date for students to participate in.

There are four (4) sessions in April and the cost is only $24. If you don’t have an account with us yet, please visit: http://www.emhsports.com/guide. If you already take our classes just log on to register at: http://www.emhsports.com/signup

If you plan to use school funds now via a PO or in the next few months please order early with us and request your funding to be sent right away. If you also have a full deposit on your EMH account there will be no downtime waiting for your PO to show up.

Learn more about sibling discounts for those parents paying out-of-pocket with three (3) or more children at: http://www.emhsports.com/discount/sibs.

To find a location near you please visit: http://www.emhsports.com/schedule  - just type in your county choices and click on “search” for the listing of parks. Don’t see one near you, let us know. WE HAVE SEVERAL NEW LOCATIONS OPEN FOR THE SPRING SEMESTER.

Thank you!

Host families needed

Host Families Needed
We are currently looking for host families to host high school students from Spain.  This is an excellent opportunity to not only share the love of Christ, but to learn a little more about their culture and broaden your own horizons.  If your studying World History this certainly would add a different dimension to your curriculum.  Many families who have hosted in the past have had positive experiences and have developed life long relationships with these students.

There  will be a group  arriving on June 28, through July 27th, 2015.  The students will have class each day at Mesa Verde High School in Sacramento and will have other group activities.  You as host families will have the opportunity to participate in the day trips and activities/game days and local trips as well.  While this is strictly volunteer, we believe that the opportunity that God provides through your family is vital and may be the only glimpse of Christ that these teens come in contact with.  Would you please pray about  opening your home and your heart to these teens.

If you are interested in hosting or know of a family who might be interested, please contact me ASAP as spaces are filling up.  I can be reached on my cell number which is 916-284-5677 or you can email me at alice.2@comcast.net.  We are setting appointments over the next two weeks to secure homes for this group.

In Christ,
Debra Winters
