9 am,online,Sept 13, Monterey Bay Aquarium Home school program, changes

Monterey Bay Aquarium
2017-18 Home School Program
Online Reservations
Dear Home School Educator:
Thank you for your continued support of our Home School Program at the Monterey Bay Aquarium! Online reservations for this school year's Home School Program will open at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13.
This year, we've made significant changes to our Home School Program.
Here's what's new:
The Home School Program will be offered every Monday from October 16 through March 19, not including holidays. The program is no longer offered on Tuesdays.
A lead adult can make one reservation for up to five school-age children.
One adult per school-age child receives complimentary admission as a chaperone. Children ages two and under are admitted free of charge and do not need to be counted in your reservation.
Multiple reservations under the same person's name will not be accepted. If a group of home school families would like to visit on the same date, each family will need to make its own reservation.
There are three morning entry times and three afternoon entry times. All families will arrive at Hovden Way for check-in, 15 minutes before their reserved program time. The educational program will take place in the Auditorium for the morning groups and in the Discovery Labs for the afternoon groups.
The Discovery Labs will not be open for free exploration.
Instead of a confirmation number, families will receive Home School Program reservation tickets via e-mail. Families must bring these reservation tickets on the day of their visit to be admitted into the Aquarium.
Home school groups of 10 school-age children (ages 3-18) and a lead educator are welcome to sign up under our Self-Guided Field Trips on any day of the week. Please note that families may only make one Home School Program or one Self-Guided Field Trip reservation per school year.
This streamlined approach will allow us to offer more availability for this popular program! If you have any questions about our online reservation process or the Home School Program, please e-mail schoolprograms@mbayaq.org or call us toll-free at (866) 963-9645.
Kind regards,
Education Programs
