You can Homeschool Event

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a Homeschool Now USA event, You CAN Homeschool! This event is to support the National School Choice Week scheduled the week of January 25-31, 2015. Did you know that "Over 100 million people last year heard about various school choice options, but homeschooling was minimally represented" (HSUSA website).  Well, this year, we are praying that our event will allow our community to hear that homeschooling is a viable choice.  We will be hosting the event at Church of the Foothills Cameron Park CA, on January 30, 2015, from 7-8 PM.  Please pass this announcement onto fellow homeschoolers, homeschool groups and anyone interested in homeschooling.

If you are available and interested in helping us with this event, here are the areas we still need assistance in:

1.  Volunteers to help put up posters in the community and get the word out.
2.  Volunteers to help be part of the event panel comfortable with an open Q&A session after the brief presentation.
3.  Volunteers to pray for the event and those in our community who need to hear about homeschooling as an option.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you are available to help so we can get you involved.  Thank you so much for your help and prayers!

The Jesus Express Choir has started up again and the kids who attended today absolutely loved it!

The Thursday morning group meets at 10am at the Tyler Street Church of Christ off of Madison near highway 80. They need a few more students to continue at this location.

The director, Eric Rainwater is very creative and ALWAYS includes a Biblical message in his songs and dramas.

My girls loved this choir and Shades of Praise, his teen choir. They participated for all 13 years of their homeschool career! We still think (and sing) the Bible verses that he puts into his clever songs!

Do you know of any families with children ages 6-12 who might be interested in this great group?

Please contact Eric Rainwater and let him know you want to attend next Thursday, 1/15.

Visit his website http://ericrainwater.com/choirs.html or give him a call at 916-428-2056You and your family will find years of enjoyment with the Rainwater Music Company!
