CROCHET 101
4-Week Course meets once a week for 2 hours
Saturdays from 10am - 12pm Beginning January 10th
Skill Level:     Beginning Level 1
Skills Needed: None
Skills Taught in class: Chain Stitch, Single Crochet, Double Crochet, Starburst Stitch, Increasing, Decreasing & Crocheting in the Round.
In this 4 week beginner course you will learn the basic of crocheting and pattern reading.
We will be making adorable owl and starburst washcloths - these make fabulous gifts as well!
Class Length: 2hours/wk, 4 weeks: 8 hours of instruction  

Fee:   $65 plus materials
Class Dates:    January 10^th, 17^th, 24^th & 31st

GARMENT SEWING 102 FOR ADULTS
4 week course begins January 11th

Projects Planned:  Tote Bag, Lunch Bag, Fleece Hat/Scarf, additional starter project of student’s choice
Bring your machine and join us for the next step in your sewing journey. We will be learning beginning construction techniques using Home Decorating fabric to create tote bags (these make great grocery bags) and lunch bags
Learn to sew with fleece along with finishing tips and tricks
Is there something that you have always wanted to make but were afraid to try? We will use the last class of the session to plan any project of your choice. Instructor will assist and advise you in your next sewing adventure!
Skills Needed:      Basic sewing knowledge required or have taken Sewing 101 class
Skills Taught in Class:  Sewing with heavier weight fabric, sewing with fleece, correct choices of needles and thread for specialty fabrics

 Thursdays from 4pm - 6pm Beginning January 15th
 Skill Level:     Beginning Level 1
 Skills Needed: None
 Skills Taught: Knit, Purl, Cast-On, Bind-off, Basic Pattern & Yarn label Reading, Problem-Solving.
In this 4 week beginner course you will learn the basics of Knitting and pattern reading.

Each week is a new Make it & Take it class as we will learn a different pattern each week and put those skills to work making washcloths. These make fabulous gifts as well!
Class Length: 2hours/wk, 4 weeks: 8 hours of instruction
