January Writing Classes with Hannah Yeager

Hello everyone!

It is that time of year again, where I send my email about classes and workshops that I will be offering this coming year. Also, it is the holiday season so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

I am sending this email to let you know about the January  writing classes.

I have a new class that will be offered starting this January, Writing Workshop 301, that is the next level of academic writing. It also goes into writing for all different outlets and in most career fields. I want to give students a taste of what it means to write for a business, magazine, newspaper, scientific journal, or a technical writing project.

I will be teaching classes from January 8th – January 19th.

I have a list of classes/ workshops and dates listed below. I will be accepting email signups as of right now and I now accept charter money. You can sign up using charter money through Yeager Educational Services.

I also offer online tutoring in writing and literature.  The price  per hour is $25 non-charter and $30 charter.
This is a basic tutoring session.  Here I can do two thing: (a) Go over lessons that the student is learning in their homeschool program (b) Tailor lessons to help a student grow in the basics of writing.  It is up to the parent which one the student does.

Thank you all for continuing to be interested in my classes and have a good holiday season! I hope to hear from you all in the coming year.

EMH SPORTS BASKETBALL

Our PE Basketball class is starting the first week of January. Shooting hoops, dribbling and learning how the game is played provides a great way for your child/children to exercise.

APPROPRIATE AGES:
Learning to play basketball is more than just “making a basket” and while that is the major goal of the game, there are other skills required to make it happen. The sport involves dribbling, throwing, catching and pivoting and the younger you start your children playing it, the more coordinated they will become. Beginning basketball training for your little ones improves motor skills by using major muscle groups. The younger children will gain strength in their legs and arms aiming for the rim. You’d be surprised how many will actually hit it or make a basket before the month is over! The coaches will give points for the effort of hitting the rim or net which will build confidence and makes it exciting for the younger players. Some areas will have smaller basketballs provided.
The older students will develop the same muscle groups and team-building skills. They will improve their flexibility and endurance along with their hand-eye coordination. These motor skills will also transfer to other activities of daily life.
WE HAVE SEVERAL NEW LOCATIONS OPEN FOR THE SPRING SEMESTER.

EMH Basketball Class Description:
Participants will practice dribbling, passing, receiving, finishing and shooting drills. There will also be plenty of fun exercises to enhance motor coordination. Proper footwork, positional play, crosses, distribution and a number of other techniques will be covered.
Games will be played at each class.
YOUR CHILD MAY BRING THEIR OWN BALL - please have their name on it and remind them to get it after class is over.
Our customer service staff is standing by to help you by email any time
(preferred) or by phone 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Mon- Fri. (855-213- 4443 ext. 3)
