Career Exploration & College Success Class


Don’t know what to be when you grow up? Are you ready for college or a career?   Come explore careers & college success in a fun environment!

This semester class will help your students identify their skills and interests as they explore careers through self-assessments, lectures, group discussions, guest speakers, videos, and activities.
An overview of 15 major career industries will be presented in an interactive and engaging way.
Students will learn how to become successful in college and in their profession through topics such as time management, communication, and study skills.

Who: High School Students
When: Tuesdays, Sept 3rd – Dec 17th from 2:30 to 5:00pm in the Rancho Cordova Area
Cost: $75.00

Lauren Kramp graduated from Grove City College in Communication Studies after transferring from American River College. She is a graduate student at California State University, Sacramento. This fall she will be starting her third and final year of her Master of Science in Counseling, specializing in Career. She has experience in helping students in academic advising at the state university level and career counseling on both state university and community college campuses. Currently she is working as a Graduate Intern in the Career Center at Sacramento City College.
