Bug’s Life

July 15-17   $60/ $50 add’l siblings

Jr. Carpentry and Science

Grades 2-6

Junior Carpenters will use raw wood materials and power tools to build their own wooden “bug box.”   Over the course of the three days, we will explore the world of insects and Blue Belly Lizards: Discovering the survival methods and fascinating facts of these little “creepy crawlies” in our world.  We will spend some time capturing some of these creatures to observe in our boxes.  This camp combines the excitement of creating your own wood project with Science fun.

Basketball Camp

July 22-24   $60/ $50 add’l siblings

Grades 4-8

Come join us for 3 days on the court.  Players will learn drills and basic basketball techniques to improve upon their own game.  They will have fun testing and building their basketball skills, along with their endurance, in a non-competitive environment while being continually challenged.  Full and half court games will be included to practice skills learned.

Rocketry and PE

July 29-31   $60/ $50 add’l siblings

Grades 4-8

Do you love all things that fly?  Can you imagine flying to the moon?  In this camp students will learn, in terms they can understand, some of the basics of “rocket science”—how thrust is produced, types of rocket fuel, how rockets are steered, how orbit works, features of earth’s atmosphere, and more.  We will explore and experiment with creating all kinds of propulsion driven aircrafts.

For part of the day, students will have time to play such sports as basketball, soccer, volleyball, and others.  Teamwork and sportsmanlike conduct will be encouraged in non-competitive games. They will learn the proper techniques in stretching, strengthening, and conditioning for better health.  Come join us for some healthy play.
