August 1st Crocker Art Museum for Teens

FREE for teens! 
What happens when teens take over the Crocker? Find out at this major summer bash celebrating the art, vision, and culture of local youth. DJs from Sol Collective, SAYS poets, The Kelps, The Hungry, Crow Canyon, and hip-hop dancers will light up a main stage. Check out skateboard demos on a quarter pipe, watch Kendama ladder competitions presented by Metropolis Comix, screenprint your own t-shirt, and gain real-world insights in a creative careers lounge. An urban calligraphy battle among regional aerosol artists will top the night off! Parent-sitting is available. 
Free for teens and members. Included with general admission for nonmembers. Youth workers and community educators can receive free admission by responding to this email.  Spread the word!!!!!
