Religious based, History Co-op / HISTerical Sisters / Auburn / 2nd Monday each month

If your students are bored with history you need to introduce them to . . .

The HISTerical Sisters - Zany sisters and homeschooling mothers who use their signature blend of
hilarious antics to teach the facts! A perfect addition to your history curriculum! They will bring history to LIFE as students attend once a month visiting or "stopping" at different places and times throughout history.

Location: Crossroads Calvary Chapel (Hwy 49) ...about 10 minutes above Auburn (We will meet here for Sept. and Oct then move to Auburn Grace Community Church in November)
Date: 2nd Monday of Each Month
Time: 9:00 - 2:00
Fee: $13 per student, per month (Plus a $25 annual registration per family)

Our History Co-op (called The Great Homeschool History Tour), is open to kids of all grades (that’s right K-12th)
During our History Day we:
  • Teach for about one hour (it’s more like a show!)
  • Break into grade level activity stations
  • Kids can come in costume (or wear one of ours for the Photo Shoot) Photos taken next to a period backdrop with props and costumes
  • Scrapbook what was learned
  • (Which goes into a portfolio so by the end of the school year students have 9 stops in history!)
  •          Have a “wrap up” session where kids come forward to tell one fact they learned (for candy!)

You may come the first month and see if its a "fit" for your family then you'll need to make a commitment to come each month. (Payment details can be found on our website. Click this link to fill out the Fall Agreement and obtain further info)
