Auburn Youth Chorus / Open to all 3rd-6th graders / Thursdays begin.9/25

Auburn Youth Chorus was founded in 2013, by local Choral Director, Lyndsay Barham as a means to provide after school music education opportunities for 3rd-6th grade children.  The goal is to provide a cost effective means for students to be able to understand music theory and vocal care at an early age. Music is also a tool for expanding the mind that will bring success in all other areas of academic study.  "My goal is to share and bring musical knowledge to young minds that will live with them for the rest of their lives", quoted Lyndsay Barham.

I am sorry to be getting to all of you so late.  We had some issues with finding a venue for rehearsals due to the renovations of both Auburn Grace and the State Theatre.  For the last couple of weeks in September we are planning to meet at Bowman Charter School on Thursdays from 5:00-6PM.  Please let me know if you are able to attend.  Our first meeting will be Thursday, September 25th.  We will be back at Auburn Grace after the 5th of October.

At our first rehearsal, I will be giving out a list of dates.  We have a couple of concerts scheduled at the Auburn Performing Arts Center, who is doing a marvelous renovation right now (I just went over there the other day, and what a difference!!).  We will also be performing at 3 stages again this year with the Placer Pops Chorale and Orchestra.

If you are able to refer other families to join, I will be offering discounted tuition fees for those who sign others up.  The tuition is still $200 for the year.  For every child signed up that is referred by you, you will receive $15 deduction of annual tuition cost.

Let's get the word out there! This is a wonderful and growing group of kids that have tremendous talent! Let's support the arts in Auburn!
