Sierra Lighthouse Christian Homeschool Choir - Auburn

 Sierra Lighthouse Christian Homeschool Choir

Do your children love to sing??
I am excited to share that we have a new Christian Homeschool Choir starting in the Fall!
The purpose of the choir will be to glorify God through Song - to be a Light to all those who hear!
The Choir will be performing worship and praise songs which share the gospel and edify the Body of Christ in our community!

Our Conductor will be: Lyndsay Barham

Lyndsay is currently a Professor in the Music Department at William Jessup University where she directs the Jessup Concert Choir.

She also taught for two years as the Director of Music at Forest Lake Christian High School in Auburn, California, where she directed three high school choirs, contemporary band, and Jr. High Choir.

She obtained her Master's Degree in Music with an emphasis in Choral Conducting from Sacramento State University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education and Vocal Performance at William Jessup University and worked as an administrative assistant to the Music Department there during her five years of study.

She has performed in numerous choirs including the William Jessup University Choir and Orchestra under the direction of Tom Ruscica, Placer Pops Chorale under the direction of Lorin Miller, Sacramento Choral Society & Orchestra and University Chorus at Sacramento State University under the direction of Dr. Donald Kendrick. Lyndsay has traveled internationally performing all over the United States, Canada and Europe, most recently traveling to Italy to sing on tour in venues such as the Vatican in Rome.
