Piano/Organ Instruction with Patricia Grimm

Pat Grimm is relocating to Sacramento this month and will be offering
instruction in both piano and organ this coming year.

Patricia Grimm is an active organist, pianist, and teacher, formerly of Fremont Presbyterian Church, Sacramento as organist. 

Her extensive experience as a teacher includes private lessons for all ages and levels, chamber music coaching, and university aural skills, theory, and keyboard harmony classes. 

She studied piano with Jonathan Feldman at the Juilliard School, and piano pedagogy at Westminster Choir College. 

As a collaborative pianist, Patricia has performed at the Edinburgh International Music Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, the Trinity Wall Street Music Series in New York City, and regularly performs throughout the United States as a collaborative pianist in duo recitals and as a member of the Cypress Ensemble, a piano quartet based in the New York City metropolitan area. 

Prior to moving to Sacramento, she was also staff accompanist at Central Connecticut State University, accompanying faculty and student recitals. 

Patricia holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Sacred Music from Duquesne University, a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from Kent State University, a Master of Music degree in Collaborative Piano from the Hartt School of Music, and is currently in the PhD program in Musicology and Music Theory at the University of Connecticut.
