Literature Based Writing Classes - Kris Cordell

(From Kris Cordell) Dear parents, I know that you have all been very patient waiting for this email notifying you that I am ready begin sign-ups for our literature-based writing classes. Attached you will find a copy of the flyer with information about our classes in Orangevale. There are very few changes from last semester: 1. Classes will begin promptly at 9:30 and end at 11:30 2. We have added a 4th/5th grade class this year. So we have a class that is appropriate for all 4th graders. J 3. We are planning to offer our classes at a location in Auburn/Grass Valley (at the corner of Wolfe and Combie) on Thursday afternoons from 1:00-3:00. There will be a 5-7th grade class and possibly a class for 8-10th graders if there is enough interest. Be sure to let me know if you are interested in either of these classes. I will be ordering materials for all of our classes next Monday, so we need to get your child on the class list right away. All of our teachers are returning, and we are welcoming a new teacher for our NEW 4/5th grade class. We are all excited about getting back together . . . to learn. As always, we look forward to studying some great novels, engaging in some exciting discussions, and refining our writing skills. Feel free to pass this information on to your friends. If you received duplicate emails, I apologize. I have some of you in more than one contact list. That’s another one of those “projects”: consolidate contact lists. J I’m praying that everyone makes the most of their last couple of weeks of summer break. I hope you have enjoyed your summer months as much as I have.
