Sac, Sept 20, Amateur Radio Night,6 pm to 9 pm, all ages

Have you ever wondered what HAM Radio is about and what it can do? Well, North Hills Radio Club of Sacramento is putting on What is Amateur Radio Night. You can see different ways to talk down the street or across the world. There will be refreshments for all. You can see different operating stations and what they can do. Get information about the club and how to obtain a FCC license. Get involved with the community with Emergency Communications. Help the National Weather Service get accurate weather sightings with Skywarn. Bring the Kids! They might get interested in the hobby. The night is Open to the public. All are welcome. WIARN well be held at the former smud building located at 5026 Donjuilo Blvd. at the northeast corner of Donjulio and Elkhorn blvds in Sacramento.
