My name is Lana and I am Operations Supervisor here at Recreate in Roseville. We are a nonprofit dedicated to Maker Education and creative re-use. We operate a Warehouse of donated materials for sale at a discount such as cardboard, a ton of books on making, scrap booking materials, painting, textile arts, mosaic and tile, and much more. We also operate a drop-in craft center which is a fantastic resource for parents looking for a hands on activity that they can d with their kids. The center is stocked with bins full of reusable materials that allows kids to 'choose their own adventure' and practice design and building skills to create their very own take-home masterpiece.
Our hours are Wednesday through Friday from 10-5 and Saturday 10-4. We offer a wide range of creative activities on top of our Art Center and Warehouse, such as birthday parties and scout badges. Please check our website at recreate.org to learn more. We are located at 8417 Washington Blvd, Suite 135, Roseville CA 95678. I'm sometimes told that people have trouble finding us, just make sure you are heading to Washington Blvd, not Vernon Street, and we are located right next to a water bottling plant with a white fence and silver silos.
I wanted to let you know that we are here as homeschooling parents who come in tell me they would really like to get the word out to the homeschooling groups in the area.
