BIG HOMESCHOOL GIVEAWAY!

Good news! 

Forest Lake Christian School will be donating some educational supplies to our giveaway on March 29^th.  FLCS was started by a homeschooling family and they are happy to be able to provide these supplies to the homeschooling families coming to my house on March 29th.   I won’t know until late next week exactly what they will be donating, but more than likely it will include quite a bit of curriculum – and it’s all free to you!!  I’ve also done more spring cleaning in my house and have added puzzles, kites, and much more.  My empty closets = your full closets/classrooms!  :o)  See my e-mail below about the giveaway details if you haven’t already seen it.

As many of you know, a couple years ago when we finished homeschooling, we filled our garage and driveway with many years worth of homeschool items and gave everything away.  I did keep some things at that time though - maybe denial that our homeschooling days were over (ha ha) but I also thought I would still use some things.  Well, we have now done a thorough spring cleaning of our home/attic (also in preparation for a home remodel) and I have lots more to giveaway!  Below is a partial list of the things that will be available on Saturday, March 29th.  Besides homeschool related items, we will have other household items as well. 

Everything will be free, however, if you find something that will be useful to you and you are able to pay a little something, we will have a donation box set up.  All money will go toward packing 300,000 meals for starving children in the world at the Feed My Starving Children mobile pack this coming fall (October 23-25).  Many of you have packed meals with us before at this annual event (there are always hundreds of homeschoolers that participate each year!).  There is no pressure at all to give – if money is tight - just come, take what will be useful to you – and be blessed!

The last time we did this type of a giveaway, pretty much everything was gone in 90 minutes – it was crazy, but in a really fun kind of way!  :o)  So….we are opening the garage doors at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29th, and we’ll be done by 10:00.  Our address is 1312 Daisy Court in Roseville (near Sunrise and Cirby).  We live on the right hand side at the end of Daisy Court.  All we ask is no early shopping/reserving please.

Curriculum (Physics, Institute for Excellence in Writing, Calculus, 3 sets of Write Shop, Business Management, Algebra, Home Economics, Spanish, Bible courses, and more)

Books – all kinds and lots of them!

College Planning Guide 

Furniture (dining room set with six chairs, book cases, TV cabinet with TV included – see 4 pictures in attached document - and maybe also a file cabinet)

Brother sewing machine (old, but works – picture in attached document)

Craft items (paint, paper, feathers, beads, lots of other misc. items)

Office supplies (drawers, file holders, paper, binders, etc.)

CDs & DVDs – both educational and entertainment

Games!
