WRITING CLASSES

~ Literary terms and in-depth analysis

~ Emphasis on essay writing: organization, style, content, grammar, and             critical thinking

~ Enrichment activities: narratives, reports, oral presentations, visual    displays, etc.

CLASSES WILL BEGIN SEPT. 10

Wednesday classes (First Baptist Church of Orangevale):

9:30-11:30                         3^rd-4^th                    Introduction to literary analysis and writing

                                             5-6^th                      Beginning writing

                                             7-8^th                      Intermediate writing

                                            9-12^th   Advanced intermediate writing

                                             10-12^th                  College prep writing

$200.00** for ALL high school and ALL charter school students

$175 for private pay families with students in 4^th-8^th grades

– Class fee includes required curriculum
