American Heritage Girls Meeting 7pm June 4th

April 21, 2014

Dear Pastor,
President John Quincy Adams certainly knew the importance of a woman’s role in societal formation.  He said, “From all that I had read of history and government of human life and manners, I had drawn this conclusion, that the manners of women were the most infallible barometer to ascertain the degree of morality and virtue of a nation.”

There is an obvious need for a cultural change for our nation and its daughters, a need for girls to know the love of Christ, the joy of lasting friendships and the fun of new wholesome experiences – in essence, the need for a ministry for girls that has transforming significance.

We believe that American Heritage Girls and your church or school can assist in countering the culture with its radical message of moral absolutes and bring our nation back to a “mannerly” existence. And our hope is that YOU will join us in casting a vision for reaching our nation’s daughters for Christ through the vehicle of AHG!

I encourage you to come learn about the American Heritage Girls program at an Area-wide Information Meeting on June 4th at 7 p.m. hosted by AHG Troop CA1271 at Fremont Presbyterian Church.
The Mission of American Heritage Girls is “building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country.”
The Oath said by each American Heritage Girl is “I promise to love God, cherish my family, honor my country, and serve in my community.”
And the Creed states:  As an American Heritage Girl, I promise to be compassionate, helpful, honest, loyal, perseverant, pure, resourceful, respectful, responsible and reverent.

AHG is a perfect complement to Sunday school, youth ministries and Bible memorization clubs. Through a strong service program, AHG teaches girls to “Love one another as I have loved you.” AHG also grows girls to be leaders in their faith, giving them strength to share their testimony with others. The benefits of the AHG program to your church and school are many!

If you would like to learn more about the American Heritage Girls program, please send someone to theArea-wide Information Meeting on June 42014 at p.m. We want to see AHG become available to any girl anywhere.  Families are looking for a wholesome, character development program for their daughters and this is it!
Enclosed with this letter is a flyer to use for publicizing the event. We hope to see you on June 4th!
For the good of the Kingdom,
Cindy Engel
