I am interested in having a local naturalist, John Muir Laws, come and do a field sketching class for kids 6 and up. We attended one of his classes in the Bay Area and loved it. He has a natural gift for teaching children how to draw animals in the wild quickly and how to draw them scientifically. He literally wrote the book on identifying Sierra Nevada flora and fauna:
