CHEA presents Special Needs Solutions Conference
Help for homeschooling parents of children who learn differently

The Christian Home Educators Association (CHEA) of California presents a Special Needs Solutions Conference March 22 to give parents resources and methods to meet everyday teaching challenges. The conference will be held at Celebration Christian Center in Livermore.
The one-day conference (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) will cover many aspects of special needs. Three tracks will be available including The Basics, Instructional Strategies, and Beyond Basics.
Faith Berens, Special Needs Consultant for the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), a national homeschool advocacy organization, is the featured speaker. Other speakers include special needs experts Roneta Dickey, Sharon Hensley, and Jennifer Pepito.

Celebration Christian Center is located at 1135 Bluebell Drive in Livermore.
HSLDA Members should call the office at 562-864-2432 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday to register or print out the online pre-registration form and mail it to the address on the top, postmarked by March 6.Mail-in registration deadline is March 6. Online pre-registration deadline is March 13. (There will be no deadline extensions.) Cost begins at $30 for CHEA and HSLDA members and $35 for non-members. At-the-door registration is available at slightly higher prices. Spouses can attend for just an additional $15.
