A Weekend of 'Be still and know that I am God'

Hello dear friends,

I am so looking forward to being with you all again this spring as we gather together for another weekend with the Lord and His daughters. We will be going to our beloved Diamond Arrow Christian Conference Center on the weekend of April 1st.

As I pray for  you all right now I wonder...
  • Will the Lord meet you with an answer to a question or a need that has been overshadowing you?
  • Will He surprise you with a revelation that you never knew you needed?
  • Will He call you to follow Him in a new area that will stretch you to lean on Him and abide even more closely in His love and empowering grace?
  • Will He cause you to simply rest in His green pastures for a while?

Oh, the good plans Jesus has for us

This year, it is on my heart to allow time for you to have much needed quiet and reflection; I pray the Lord will also use the times of worship, of teaching, of journaling, of quiet walks, of sweet conversation with other sisters, to reveal Himself to you. I am convinced that this has always been His heart for you.

As always, your daughters are welcome.
As you go to the family ministries website to register:

please indicate if you have a daughter or friend with whom you would like to room.
(In each room there is a double bed with a twin bunk overhead and a twin bed to the side).

Perhaps the Lord is bringing someone to mind even now that you would like to invite!

As the retreat approaches, I will be praying everyday that you would indeed hear His voice and that you would be strengthened and encouraged in your journey...you are not alone.

Can you hear His Song? Zephaniah 3:17

With much affection,
Beverly

p.s.
I read this devotional today and thought of you all:

"...He measured off another thousand cubits and led me through water that was knee-deep. He measured off another thousand and led me through water that was up to the waist. He measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough to swim in-a river that no one could cross." Ezekiel 47:1-5
"I believe the Lord, in His loving kindness is inviting each of us to a lifestyle of living in His Heart that goes beyond waist-deep water; it requires us to trust His heart, relinquish control, and jump in. Diving all the way in takes complete surrender because we are no longer grounded in our own ability to stand."
