Volleyball is a cool, yet funny sport when you think about it. Trying to keep the ball form hitting the ground takes a lot of flexibility and agility which is an excellent way to keep your child/children moving.
Volleyball is usually flexible in terms of who can participate and remains fun for all ages. When played with beginners, the main challenge is just hitting the ball over the net. With intermediate players it’s hitting the ball in a way that makes it more difficult for the other team to respond to.
The basic skills of bunting, setting, serving, and court strategy will be covered in the volleyball class. The sessions will be modified for the younger groups with different kinds of balls and rule changes. We also use different net heights to accommodate the age groups. Coaches will focus on improving individual skills along with position specific training.
There are four (4) sessions in March and the cost is only $28. If you don’t have an account with us yet, please visit: http://www.emhsports.com/guide. If you already take our classes just log on to register at: http://www.emhsports.com/signup. If using POs, they need to be in before the first session to avoid late fees.
