Teen ImprovClasses

(From SAFTI) Hi Everyone,

ComedySportz in Sacramento is starting a "Teen Improv League" which will offer improv classes for teens, ages 12 to 18.

Sessions will be held every Saturday from 2-4 p.m. For $30 per month, the teens can attend as many or as few sessions as they want each month.

For those who are interested, there will also be opportunities to perform for friends and family, but this will not be required.

Classes will be held at their location on Arden Way in Sacramento and will be taught by Chris Crotty who runs the ComedySportz Sacramento location.

My son (age 12) has attended a couple of classes there and he absolutely loves it. They play a lot of games similar to those you might have seen on "Whose Line is it Anyway?" and Chris gives them tips and advice along the way.

If you're not familiar with the ComedySportz philosophy, they do improv shows for the whole family, so everything is family-friendly with no swearing or inappropriate topics.
