Classes Begin September 12th...... But we need your help!
We wanted to make you aware of a significant need that came up. A few weeks ago, burglars broke into the facility where we store all of our equipment and supplies. Essentially everything was taken—about $20-$25,000 in value. (Unfortunately, though the facility itself was insured for liability, the contents were not.) As you can imagine, with the school year beginning in about a month it has put us in a very difficult position.
- We want to stress that ALL CLASSES WILL PROCEED AS SCHEDULED!!
We have had some donations and have been able to borrow most tools needed for every class. However, we could still use your help in replacing some items that may need to be borrowed.
A GoFundMe account has been set up by a dear family that supports our programs. Any small amount donation would be helpful. If you have contacts with businesses or friends in the area that would like to make a donation of tools in particular, please contact us and we can provide a list of needed items. We are a charitable non-profit and items donated are tax deductible.
