Presentation on How Music Affects the Mind

Come join us for an eye-opening presentation on how music affects the mind.  Learn how to select music that enhances learning and mental ability.  This presentation includes a concert.
Recent research exposes music’s ability to enhance cognitive functioning, a frontal lobe response that influences the will, moral worth, and reasoning power.  Through its influence on the mind, music also has a profound effect on mental health.
Erwin Nanasi will present on the effects of music on the human mind and how to use the right kind of music to enhance your cognitive abilities as well as improve mental health.  There will also be a mini concert by the Weimar College Chamber Singers.  This is a FREE presentation.
Erwin Nanasi graduated from the HEALTH program in Weimar, Ca. He has worked as a lifestyle coach and lecturer forNEWSTART Pro Active and is certified to hold Depression Recovery and CHIP programs. A gifted concert pianist, Erwin studied piano performance at the State University of Music and Performing Arts in his hometown of Stuttgart, Germany. He has toured and performed in over 20 countries across three continents and has lectured on music cognition. Erwin has also studied arranging and orchestration through Berklee College of Music and is the Resident Composer for Weimar Institute. He enjoys helping others discover how music can enhance their life.
