Classical Christian Informational Meetings

Want to know more about the classical method of education? Looking for a community of like-minded homeschoolers to inspire and encourage you? Interested in homeschooling through high school, but feel intimated by the coursework? Need more accountability or motivation for yourself and your child?
Classical Conversations is a program that combines the classical method of learning with a Biblical worldview, using the natural learning stages of children by giving your students the skills they need for a lifetime of learning - and does this in a FUN way!  Join us for an Information Meeting to have your questions about Classical Conversations answered, and to learn how Classical Conversations can help you provide your children an outstanding education.
You can attend an Information Meeting in any location, regardless of the specific community you are seeking to join. At this meeting, one of our seasoned Directors will explain how our program works and share how her family has benefited from their participation in their local Classical Conversations community. Please RSVP to the hostess by phone or email prior to the event.

Year End Ceremony - Medieval Feast
Join us for a Medieval Feast to celebrate our outstanding year of fellowship and learning. We will share a Medieval-themed potluck meal.  For this event, all food will be eaten with our hands, and food should be brought in cloth-lined baskets and wooden dishes, bowls, and cutting boards. Serving utensils will be allowed. In a nod to modern convention, we will be drinking bottled water and allow for small paper plates and napkins.
***All dishes are to be peanut-free.***
After enjoying some mingling and food, our program will begin. Our Challenge Tutors will share some of what they enjoyed this year with their students. We will acknowledge honors and awards. A DVD showcases our Foundations/Essentials tutors and students enjoying work and fun.  Finally, the evening will cap off with displays of student portfolios and a few fun activities in the classrooms.   Period costumes are optional.  This will be an event to remember. Huzzah!
