Hello,A few folks have asked if I will lead another eight-week Toastmasters Youth Leadership program next school year. A group is formed once we have enough interested parents and students, about 12 is great.There is no charge for the program. It is an outreach of Toastmasters International, sponsored by my club, Carmichael Toastmasters.Toastmasters is a great place for absolute beginners or speech and debate/mock trial students who want to work on meeting leadership and other aspects of public speaking. It's a learn as you go program with no penalty for mistakes. My informal student surveys indicate that most students are "strongly encouraged" i.e. forced by their parents to participate yet really enjoy Toastmasters by the second or third meeting. It's fun!Let me know if you are interested and I'll add you to the list, giving priority to those who reply first.Thank you!Jennifer Harris
