4 Day Summer Aviation Camp - for students 13-17 - at the Aerospace Museum

For students ages 13-17 June 15-18, 2015 July 6-9, 2015 July 20-23, 2015  9:00am - 4:00pm $225  INTRODUCING AVIATION TO STUDENTS... MODULE 1: LANGUAGE How do pilots understand each other? MODULE 2: AIRCRAFT BASICS What are the parts of an airplane? MODULE 10: AVIATION IN HISTORY Who are the pioneers and heroes of aviation? MODULE 3: FLIGHT CONTROLS How does a pilot control the airplane?  Activities during the camp will include: · Visit the United States Coast Guard Station · Each participant will take a short flight with a registered pilot MODULE 4: FORCES OF FLIGHT How does the airplane fly? MODULE 5: WEIGHT AND BALANCE Can an airplane be too heavy or unbalanced to fly?
