BHN Event: Valentine's Party!

Please join Bayside Homeschool Network for a Valentines Party for 0-6th graders from 1:30 - 3:00 pm in Building B, Room 222 of Bayside. 

$2/family to cover craft and service project mailing.

Please RSVP to Rhonda Arthur  (thearthurs@surewest.net) by Feb11th & indicate how many children you will be bringing who can receive Valentines.

Each Family brings a Valentine for each Child attending. Final count will be emailed evening of Feb 11th. 

Last names starting with A-L please bring a sweet to share. 

Last names starting with M-Z please bring a savory type snack to share.

Older students (past 6th grade) are more than welcome to come and lead a game.

We will be doing care packages for service men and an older folks home.  

Here is a list of some items you can bring to donate to soldiers in the military for the V. Day Party:

Jr.mints,Jerky,Vitamins/supplements
Gum,Mints,Health bars, not Cliff
Travel size Q tips, Kleenex,wipes,detergent,lip balm,sunblock,mouth wash, shampoo,toothpaste,toothbrush,Tylenol, Aleve, batteries (AA, AAA, 9 volt, C),small flashlight, 
Home made baked goods,
Ground coffee (Starbucks or Peets), hot chocolate packets,
Cards, letters, notes of thanks,
Small devotional book (Jesus Calling?)

We will also bless 8 elderly in a local care home (ran by a home school family) and there will be a small care basket put together for them also…the owner suggested that cookies and chocolates would put a smile on the faces…

Fun will be had by all!!
