The Open House is an annual event that all members and their families (if you are bringing extended family please include them in your RSVP) are invited to attend.  Your family may participate in all the opportunities available or you can just come to enjoy and fellowship!   Yearbooks are also distributed to those who ordered them and the kids often enjoy having their friends sign them during this event.  Drinks and small bites will be provided.  This event includes:

·The opportunity to share and display projects, assignments, and activities they have worked on throughout the school year.
*Tables are set up for students to arrange their items to display and families can walk around and appreciate what students have worked hard on throughout the year.  Tables for display are first come-first serve, so arrive early to ensure table space for your students.

·Time for sharing on stage a talent or skill.  Students have shared scripture or speeches they’ve memorized, music with instruments they are learning, singing, etc.
*We ask that each student be limited to 2 minutes to allow sufficient time for all students participating.  There is a deadline to sign up for this to be included in the schedule.  Please RSVP for your student and indicate what they will be sharing by May 28th.

·Honoring 8th grade and high school graduates.  Each family with a graduating student has the opportunity to acknowledge this special milestone.
*Parents join their student on stage and honor them by sharing encouraging wisdom, a blessing, acknowledging their accomplishments, etc.  There is no specific format and each family can honor their student however they wish.  If your student would like to be acknowledged, but does not wish to be on stage please be sure to let us know so we can announce them with the full group of students.  The deadline to RSVP for your student to be included is May 28th.  In your RSVP please note the student’s name and if they are graduating 8th grade or high school.
