Classical Conversations Meetings in Greater Sacramento

Do you want to know more about the classical method of education?

Are you looking for a community of like-minded homeschoolers to inspire and encourage you?

Do you need more accountability or motivation for yourself and your child?

Classical Conversations is a program that combines the classical method of education with a biblical worldview, utilizing the natural developmental stages of children to cultivate the skills needed for a lifetime of learning. CC's purpose is to equip and empower parents and students to discover the order and beauty of life through a biblical perspective and to inspire others to do the same. CC is Christian in worldview, classical in application, and communal in spirit.

If you have been curious about Classical Conversations, now is the season for information meetings and open houses (visiting days). We have several programs available around the greater Sacramento area, with rumors of new groups coming soon! Please contact the directors listed below to RSVP for a meeting or ask questions about a particular program. For a complete list of local meetings and available programs, please visit the Classical Conversations' national website at www.classicalconversations.com.

Homeschool ski trip info.  A big thanks to Lisa for organizing these each year!  Contact Lisa at lisa@tridc.com with questions and RSVPs.

It's almost time for the Midweek Homeschool ski trip to Sugar Bowl.  This season, we plan to go on Monday March 17.  Pray for more snow before then, but Sugar Bowl's snow making system is also keeping the skiing great.  Sugar Bowl has discontinued their General Admission Program (free rental and lesson with lift ticket), so the adult pricing is different this year.

Here's the deal:

K-12

Midweek School Group Package (Includes lift ticket, rental equipment, lesson and helmet)  $45

Adults (anyone not K-12)

Lift ticket  $60
Rental  $35
Helmet  $10
Beginner Lesson Package (includes 2 hour group lesson, rental equipment and restricted lift ticket(beginner/intermediate lifts))  $69
All Mountain Lesson Package (includes lift, lesson, rental)  $109

Here's what I need:

Which package or individual part do you want?
Do you need a lesson?  If so, ski or snowboard and what level (description of levels below)?
Do you need rental equipment?  Ski or snowboard?

Level 1: First time ski ever
Level 2: some novice turns
Level 3: Intermediate Green/Blue
Level 4: Intermediate Blue
Level 5: Advanced Blue/Black
Level 6: Expert Black

When I need info and payment:

Any time, but by Monday March 3, Two weeks before the trip.
