DESCRIPTION:
Christian Youth Theater (CYT) Sacramento presents Disney’s Lion King Jr! The future king of Pride Rock, young Simba grows to understand himself and embrace his responsibilities, despite the many challenges and hardships that overcome him when his evil Uncle Scar plots to take the throne for himself. With the death of his father unfairly on his conscience and a pack of mangy, slobbering hyenas doing Scar’s evil bidding, it takes strength of character, humility, and forgiveness of self and others for Simba to prevail. Along the way, Simba’s bright, loyal friends help him, teaching him many life lessons that prepare him to be a bold, fair ruler of Pride Rock like his father before him. Full of the beauty of tradition and the importance of realizing your own strength, Lion King depicts the maturing and shaping of a young, brave heart from the gravity of accepting responsibility for a kingdom, to the light-hearted reminder of Hakuna Matata.

A Look Inside the 2017 Sacramento Reptile Show
Northern California's Reptile Event of the Year
The Sacramento Reptile Show is back for our 20th annual event and is bigger than ever! The reptile show and sale includes 120+ booths and is a great way to educate both adults and children on the world of reptiles. This is your opportunity to come face to face with reptiles from across the world!
We relaunched our show website www.SacReptileShow.com to include all of the information you need to plan your adventure at this year's show!
Here are some of this year's highlights:
Our popular Conservation Corner returns again this year, featuring local organizations that focus on the amazing local wildlife and vast public lands that Sacramento County has to offer. This is a perfect opportunity to learn about our local environment.
This is the opportunity to become immersed in the world of reptiles. Meet professional reptile breeders, pet a 9ft alligator, spend time in the Brad's World Reptile Education display, check out our venomous reptile display and take home a new reptile pet.

Royal Rangers
From BHN member Monica Williams
Last Tuesday night my kids attended the Royal Rangers (for boys) at Destiny Church and had a blast! They have these groups: K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12. They are trying to get a group of Missionettes (for girls) too.
The Royal Rangers meet at Destiny Church on Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00. Please find more info below.
My boys are loving this program! Thanks to my good friend, Julie Thomas, for inviting us!
In Christ,
Monica Williams
