Platelet Party
Hi! 😊
I donated platelets for the first time last week (after YEARS of donating whole blood). Found out that there is a tremendous need for platelets, especially around the holidays, so I am having a “Platelet Party”
I figure it would be way more fun to donate together, especially since the platelet process takes a little longer than the usual blood donation (around two hours but hey, it is worth it to save a life!)
If you can’t give blood, please feel free to pass this on to anyone you know that might be able to join us.

If you have not given platelets before, you have to go in at least two weeks prior to get a special test to see if you are eligible, because you need to have a certain level of platelets to donate. Call the Roseville center at 916-782-2618 to set that up.
